I have a 69 Z28 non stock, and I have a manual. Should I switch to an auto for taking the car to the Quarter mile???

I am planning a swap to an M22 in my TH350 car. I like to shift myself. It's more "muscle car" to me.

What engine in your ride?? If it is a littile beefed up, personally if you don't need overdrive go with a Turbo 400, full manual reverse pattern valve body w/ a trans brake. A 3,000 stall will work good. Get a big trans cooler and a trans temp gauge

It depends on taste.

I love manuals, and I love automatics. Both are good.

A TH400 is excellent for abuse.

An M22 Rockcrucher also, but a little bit noisy because of the gear angles.

The Tremec is also a great choice in manuals.
